Good fruit grown well.

Portrait of wine maker, Andrew Vesey in the winery.

Wines are made by Andrew Vesey, known for thoughtful, site-sensitive winemaking that seeks purity and subtle texture. Fermentation and maturation are guided by instinct and experience, rather than formula, with minimal intervention and maximum respect for fruit. For Andrew, when the vineyard is in balance, gentle winemaking is enough - the truest wines are patiently nurtured.

de VESÉ is grounded in the Great Southern and built on close collaborations. Our first 2024 and 2025 vintages capture the diverse voice of the region; reflection of the growers and vineyards Andrew has worked alongside for years, and who share our values of soil health, balance and vine management.

Rooted in the Great Southern and now focused on a single expressive site at Abbey Creek, de VESÉ exists to share that quiet conversation between land, season, and time.

That journey led us to Abbey Creek, a small site in the Porongurup we now farm and manage ourselves. It’s the natural continuation of our philosophy: to craft wines that express place with clarity, and from 2026, de VESÉ wines will come from our home vineyard.
